Just average. Daisy Harris has written some books that I loved but this isn't one of them. it's not horrible and that's why it gets 3 stars, but it's lacking. there's no real story here, which would be fine because I'm more of a character girl anyway, but there's no character development either.
We're just sort of tossed into this romance without any real introduction to the characters - which makes it hard to give a crap about them - and very little insight into their thoughts, which makes their motivations murky at best and the progression of the relationship confusing. Everything just seems to come out of nowhere with no real explanation. Herky jerky is how I would describe it.
Bottom line: only read this one if you've really got nothing else to read.
