Roan and Sebastian have been together for almost a year and are very happy. They're going home to visit family for Christmas. The only problem - they have to keep their relationship a secret and pretend to be no more than friends. (There are reasons why, but I want to keep this spoiler free.) While visiting with their families, they learn that they're not the only ones with a secret.
This extended short (44 pages) was like a really short soap opera. Like if Young and the Restless had had gay characters in the 80s. And as such, I totally loved it. Ryan did a great job of illustrating the chemistry between these characters in a limited amount of time. I'm really looking forward to seeing what she can do with a longer format. If this story had been a bit longer and I'd had more time with it, I probably would have rated it higher.
